1 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice
Zest of one pink grapefruit (avoid pith)
0.75 cup sugar
Pinch of Salt
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp dried hibiscus petals
2-3 culinary rose petals -or- 1 drop rose water
2-3 drops orange blossom water
1 small slice fresh ginger
Combine grapefruit juice, zest, sugar, salt, lime juice, hibiscus petals, rose petals/water, and ginger in a non-reactive saucepan.
Heat gently over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to the simmer for 5 minutes max (do not boil).
Remove from heat, let cool, and add orange blossom water.
Strain through fine mesh or cheesecloth and bottle.
Keeps for 2-3 weeks if airtight in fridge.
